PART II: Analysing the results of the tenders for centrally pre-developed sites
In der vierten Ausgabe unseres Formates BWO EXPERTISE werden wir uns mit den neuen Ausschreibungsergebnissen für drei vom Bundesamt für Seeschifffahrt und Hydrographie (BSH) voruntersuchte Offshore-Wind-Flächen beschäftigen.
Am 12. August hatte das BSH bekanntgegeben, dass Luxcara den Zuschlag für die 1,5 Gigawatt-Fläche N-9.3 erhält und RWE die Zuschläge für die Flächen N-9.1 und N-9.2 mit jeweils 2 Gigawatt. Wie sieht es mit der Transparenz des Verfahrens aus? Wie können die Erlöse sinnvoll eingesetzt werden? Diese und weitere Fragen besprechen wir mit Simon Müller.
Simon Müller ist Direktor Deutschland bei Agora Energiewende. Er ist seit mehr als einem Jahrzehnt im Bereich der Energiewende national und international tätig. Neben Stationen wie der Internationalen Energieagentur oder der Stiftung Klimaneutralität koordinierte Müller auch zahlreiche Studien zu diesen Themen.

In the fourth edition of our BWO EXPERTISE format, we will be looking at the new tender results for three offshore wind sites that have been pre-investigated by the Federal Maritime and Hydrographic Agency (BSH).
On 12 August, the BSH announced that Luxcara had been awarded the contract for the 1.5 gigawatt area N-9.3 and RWE the contracts for the areas N-9.1 and N-9.2 with 2 gigawatts each. What about the transparency of the process? How can the proceeds be used sensibly? We discuss these and other questions with Simon Müller.
Simon Müller is Director Germany at Agora Energiewende. He has been working in the field of energy transition both nationally and internationally for more than a decade. In addition to positions at organisations such as the International Energy Agency and the Climate Neutrality Foundation, Müller has also coordinated numerous studies on these topics.
