PART I: Analysing the results of the tenders for non-centrally pre-developed sites
On 21 June 2024, the Federal Network Agency announced the results of the tenders for offshore wind on non-centrally pre-investigated sites. Two sites for offshore wind farms with a total capacity of 2,5 GW have been tendered out this year.
On 26 June 2024 at 1:30 pm, we will analyze the results of the German offshore tender together with Dominik Hübler (Director, NERA), also taking into account the Offshore tenders that have recently taken place in other European countries. We will evaluate the auction design assess improvements for future tenders to ensure the efficient realization of the projects and will discuss necessary industrial policy measures
Due to the interest in other European countries, this “BWO-Expertise” will be conducted in English.
