Wind energy at sea law

Last Friday (April 15, 2016) the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) initiated the association hearing on the amendment to the EEG and the newly created Wind Energy Offshore Act (WindSeeG). The key point of the amendment to the law is the changeover of the promotion of renewable energies from a fixed feed-in tariff to tenders in which only the cheapest providers are involved.
