Small adjustment screws could significantly increase legal certainty in future offshore tenders

Thimm on EnSiG advice:

“We urge MEPs to take a closer look at offshore wind tenders. With comparatively small changes, a large increase in legal certainty can be achieved for upcoming offshore tenders. In particular, the qualitative criteria must be formulated more precisely in legal terms. In addition, with realistic specifications for the implementation deadlines and regulations that ensure a high level of stakeholder diversity in offshore tenders, a significant improvement in the law that will come into force in 2023 could be achieved.”
