Position paper 

The Offshore Wind Energy Act (WindSeeG) set ambitious expansion goals for generation technology
set. The industry has supported this from the start and continues to do so.

From the BWO's perspective, however, there is a significant and urgent need for adjustments to the law in order to achieve the goals.

Summary of the recommendations for action:

• Maintaining the diversity of actors: In order to reduce electricity costs through competition between offshore operators

• Strengthening the value chain and the innovative strength of the industry
• Maintaining the legally secure differentiation of the commandments and ensuring a legally secure
  surcharge mechanism
