(Senior) manager (m / f / d) for politics and regulation
The Federal Association of Wind Farm Operators Offshore eV (BWO) currently has 18 members who develop, build and operate offshore wind farms in the German North and Baltic Seas. The office organizes the association's formation of political opinions, coordinates the internal committees and represents the association - together with the board - to various stakeholders. Our work focuses on accompanying legislative processes for future framework conditions for the expansion of offshore wind energy and dealing with regulatory requirements for the ongoing operation of offshore wind farms. We are looking to strengthen our office a full-time (senior) manager for politics and regulation.
Your challenges:
We offer you an interesting and varied activity in the field of offshore wind farm operators and investors with tasks such as:
- Independent organization and content-related support of working groups and committees such as law, politics and hydrogen,
- Assessment, detailed analysis and discussion of industry-relevant laws, ordinances, guidelines and other regulations,
- Establishing and maintaining contacts with important stakeholders in the German and international offshore industry,
- Independent supervision of topics and studies,
- Independent planning and implementation of projects and campaigns,
- Support with media and public relations, as well
- Support in the organization of events such as specialist conferences or network events.
Your profile:
- You have experience from working in the field of public affairs in an association, in politics, or in a company in the energy industry or similar.
- You are interested in renewable energies and can prove this with your previous stations.
- You have more than a sound understanding of political contexts and a corresponding network.
- You are experienced, confident and convincing in public appearances.
- You are able to work independently and in a structured manner, to familiarize yourself with new topics and to grasp complex relationships.
- You have completed your studies, if possible in the fields of economics, politics, law or natural sciences.
- You have experience in research and analysis as well as data preparation.
- You have very good written and spoken German and very good English.
- You have a high degree of teamwork and willingness to work.
You would work in a small team in the heart of political Berlin. You can count on a remuneration that is commensurate with the position and your experience.
