New board for the BWO
Jörg Kubitza (Orsted) replaces Sven Utermöhlen (RWE) at the head of the BWO
Berlin, December 12, 2022. – On December 08, 2022, the general assembly of the BWO elected a new board. Jörg Kubitza, Ørsted was elected as the new chairman. Jörg Kubitza has been Managing Director of Orsted Germany GmbH and Country Manager of Ørsted in Germany since April 2021. He was able to build up his expertise in the field of offshore wind power in particular during his time at Mitsubishi Power Systems and later at MHI Vestas. Kubitza thus replaces Sven Utermöhlen (RWE Renewables), who, according to the articles of association, was not allowed to run again for the position of CEO after this term of office.
As deputy chairmen were Catrin Jung (Vattenfall) and Irina Lucke (omexome) was chosen. Ina Kamps (BP) will take over as CFO.

The new board will start work on January 01st, 2023.
