BWO statement on the preliminary draft area development plan 2022
The preliminary draft of the area development plan presented on December 17, 2021 is the first area development plan after the change of direction of the new federal government. This document is of central importance for the member companies of the BWO, as it lays the foundation for the
expansion of wind energy at sea in the coming years. In this sense, the BWO
would like to comment on the preliminary draft of the area development plan 2022:
Via the Federal Association of Wind Farm Operators Offshore eV
The Federal Association of Wind Farm Operators Offshore (BWO eV) is the federal association of all companies that plan, build and operate wind farms in the German North and Baltic Seas. In this way, the BWO bundles the strength and know-how for a successful energy transition in Germany and Europe.
