The Federal Ministry of the Interior, Building and Home Affairs (BMI), which is responsible for spatial planning in the German exclusive economic zone (EEZ) in the North Sea and Baltic Sea, today presented the second draft of the spatial planning and compared to the first draft from autumn 2020 Changes were made especially for wind energy, shipping and the areas for the protection of the marine environment.
