With the Net Zero Industry Act (NZIA), the EU is setting new industrial policy standards. The auctioning requirements could also be a turning point for the offshore wind industry in Germany. But what does this mean specifically for future tenders? What new requirements should bidders prepare for – and what levers does national implementation offer?

The German Offshore Wind Energy Association (Bundesverband Windenergie Offshore eV) is hosting an online expert opinion session with Thomas Hinrichsen, lawyer at Chatham Partners, who will provide a legal perspective on the new rules for German offshore wind auctions.
