October 15, 2025: 4th BWO Autumn Festival

in the Spreespeicher Berlin

Who bids, who builds – and what does it take?

Offshore wind farms aren't built on paper, but in the water. However, investor interest in German tenders has recently declined noticeably. The reason: increasing risks.

The good news: many of them can be influenced politically.

At the 4nd BWO AUTUMN FESTIVAL We are therefore discussing with representatives from politics, administration and the industry what a sustainable auction design should look like: investment-friendly, European-oriented, resilient to market distortions. Only if surcharges lead to realization will they deliver what we need: affordable electricity, industrial added value and future-proof jobs.

Afterwards there will be an opportunity to exchange ideas, enjoy drinks and chat – with a view of the water in the atmospheric Spreespeicher.
